Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of local corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns and other business -related filings.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Facilitate and manage the preparation, review and inspection of companies’ corporate tax and withholding tax returns in respective GCC countries.
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of all tax returns and other business – related filings.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary applicable taxes in respective GCC countries by considering the tax treaties wherever available.
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on change to taxation legislation.
- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections to corporate.
- Research the implications of tax laws and advise on tax related issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Administrate product manufacturing costing. Analyze all incoming products, resources and services to ensure the best pricing across the business segments. Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/ services were received at the expected cost. Data analysis and deviation analysis of significant cost positions for the monthly business reports, forecast, plan and year-to-date. Commit to maximizing costing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality.
- Manage timely renewal of all the insurance program of Culligan Middle East Group companies, review and enhance insurance scope of work with corporate office, insurance brokers, and internal customers.
- Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company’s policies, and advising management on possible risks.
- Create and manage effective actions plan in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
